Buckethead's birth name is Brian Patrick Carroll, a professional buckethead, a talented guitar player. He has released a total of 264 studio albums, 4 special editions and 1 EP. He has also performed in over 50 albums by other artists. He performed music in many areas such as progressive metal, funk, blues, jazz, bluegrass, ambient, and avant-garde music. Buckethead is best known for wearing a bucket made of KFC cardboard, and a blank white mask. This bizarre style is inspired by Buckethead from Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers. There was also a time when he wore a plain white hat that did not print KFC, but then he returned to his old style.

Buckethead has received enthusiastic support from the audience and is considered a creative guitarist in contemporary music. He came in at # 8 on GuitarOne's "Top 10 Fastest Guitar Shredders of All Time" list, "Top 25 Most Bizarre Guitarists of All Time" and "Top 50 Fastest Guitarists of All Time." 
He solo activities mainly. Although he has collaborated with other artists such as Bill Laswell, Iggy Pop, Les Claypool, Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrell, Serj Tankian, Bill Moseley, Mike Patton, Viggo Mortensen, That 1 Guy, Bassnectar. He was also a member of Guns N 'Roses from 2000-2004. He also wrote and played music for Saw II movies, Ghosts of Mars, Beverly Hills Ninja, Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, Last Action Hero.
